Preparation and Use Guide for IFAK Personal First Aid Kit
The design of the Personal First Aid Kit (IFAK) is similar to that of the First Aid Kit, but its true focus is on targeting fatal injuries such as severe cuts or gunshot wounds. It can effectively help the injured stop the shock or even death caused by massive bleeding in the fastest possible time, and strive for more rescue time for the arrival of professional emergency teams, thereby saving the lives of the injured. The basic IFAK not only retains the items of the First Aid Kit, but also adds hemostatic gauze, tourniquet, traumatic scissors, chest sealant, and other necessary traumatic medical products.
Handling of bleeding:
1:Tourniquet,TQ The tourniquet should be carried in front of the tactical vest using a specialized bag or military grade elastic webbing or similar carrier
2:Chest seal
Speed solidifies the wound
3:Israeli bandages :It is a specially designed emergency dressing equipment, mainly used for wound bleeding caused by trauma in battlefield or pre hospital emergency situations. It was first invented by Israeli military doctor Bernard Banatan and was primarily used for emergency treatment of wounded soldiers in NATO peacekeeping operations in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Later, it was widely used in the US military's "Operation Enduring Freedom" and "Operation Iraqi Freedom". This bandage is nicknamed the "Israeli bandage" by American soldiers and has always been the "preferred bandage" for the US Army and Special Forces.
